Examples include dentigerous (Latin dens, dent-, tooth), having teeth; ovigerous (Latin ovum, egg), bearing or carrying eggs; and setigerous (Latin seta, bristle), having bristles. A word from outside science is armigerous, entitled to bear heraldic arms (Latin arma, arms). However, dangerous comes from a different source.
