Hidrosis is the medical term for sweating, but it more commonly occurs in compounds relating to abnormal medical conditions: hyperhidrosis (Greek huper, over, beyond), excessive sweating, and anhidrosis (Greek an-, not or without), inadequate sweating; a hidrocystoma is a benign cyst containing fluid.
