-melia

An abnormal condition of a limb.

Greek melos, limb

The ending appears in a few terms, including phocomelia (Greek phōkē, seal), a rare congenital deformity in which the limbs are underdeveloped or absent, and amelia (Greek a‑, without), absence of arms or legs. Ectromelia (Greek ektrōsis, miscarriage) and meromelia (Greek meros, part) are more general term for such conditions.
