Latin ‑ulentus.

Some examples of words in ‑ulent were created in Latin and a few others have been generated in English on their model, though the ending is not particularly active. Examples are corpulent; flatulent; flocculent (Latin floccus, tuft of wool), having or resembling tufts of wool; fraudulent; opulent; succulent; truculent; and turbulent.
