A bunch of grapes.
Greek botrus, bunch of grapes.
The mould botrytis is deliberately cultivated (as noble rot) on the grapes used for certain wines; botryomycosis is a disease of horses, which produces granular masses; the adjective botryoidal describes minerals that look rather like a cluster of grapes.
