The sense of taste.
Greek geusis, taste.
Examples include dysgeusia (Greek dus‑, bad or difficult), an impairment of the sense of taste; ageusia (Greek a‑, not or without), inability to taste things; and hypogeusia (Greek hupo, under), a diminished acuteness in that sense.
