Gallo-

France or French; French and …

t>Latin Gallus, a person from Gaul.

This prefix usually appears hyphenated with an adjective for another country to suggest an association or link, as in Gallo-German or Gallo-American. Rarely it appears unhyphenated, as in Gallomania, an unreasoning attachment to French customs or ways. It is now more common to use Franco‑ instead.
