A breast or breasts.

Latin mamma, breast.

In medicine, mammography uses X-rays to diagnose and locate tumours of the breasts, producing images called mammograms; mammoplasty is plastic surgery on the breasts; the mammilla (also spelled mamilla), from a diminutive of mamma, is the nipple of a woman's breast; something mammillary (also spelled mamillary) is rounded like a breast or nipple; the usual adjective is mammary, which can also be another word for breast. Mammal, for warm-blooded animals that suckle their young, comes from the same source. See also masto‑.
